To promote the development of its hospitality industry, Sichuan has issued 27 measures to offer support to the development of tourism.

The Sichuan provincial government is to reduce income taxes by 15% for tourism enterprises that gained more than 70% of their revenue from ticket sales for tourist attractions and scenic spots, as well as providing guided tours and transportation services. These attractions around the province will then offer discounted tickets to tourists.

The routes from Chengdu to Jiuzhaigou, Kangding, Xichang, and Panzhihua will implement discounted prices. The Sichuan government is encouraging attractions, star-grade hotels, and travel agencies around the province to offer discounted rates for tourists on package tours
