Meet you at your Chengdu hotel at 8:00, the private vehicle will take you to Moxi Ancient Town around 1:00 pm. We check-in, and then leisure for the rest of the day to disover Moxi Acient Town by youself.

----Moxi Acient Town: it is a really small acient town on the foot of Mt. Gongga, the entrance of Hailuogou and Yanzigou. The local residents here include: Han people, Yi minority and Tibetan; the houses here are typical mountain farming, which combine farm houses,water mill and irrigation system. Except houses age from Qing Dynasty, there is a Gothic Catholic Church which was built by a French Missionary in 1918.

We will depart hotel at 9:00, after 20 minutes driving to the gate of Yanzigou Valley, change scenic area bus to do further disovery for all day.

--Yanzigou: it is also called Swallow Valley, it is on the east foot ot Mt. Gongga, about 10 km northwest to famous glacier Hailuogou. Compare to Hailuogou, the landcape here is more primitive. There are more red rocks on the hirst; and in autumn, the trees here turn red and yellow, really beautiful. And here also the camp when climb Mt. Gongga. The historical spot here include Yaowang Temple and Mandala.
Program:
We depart Moxi Acient Town at 8:00 am, drive to Kangding Scenic Area, to visit beautiful Mugetso Lake and surrounding. After that, drive back to Kangding County to the hotel. Leisure for the rest of the day.

--Kangding Scenic Area: it is located in Kangding County of Garza, the south section of Hengduan Mountains; it is also the zone of transition between Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and Szechwan Basin. Special geologic structure and glacier make the amazing scenery here: alpine lake, meadow steppe, waterfall and hot spring mix together.
The altitude here is 2,600 - 3,780 meters. Different seasons have different landscape: watching azaleas mountains and plains in the spring; more flowers blossoming under the snow mountains in the summer; colorful trees and their reflections on alpine lake in the autumn; clad in silvery white in the winter.

Drive you to Kangding Airport to take flight to Chengdu Airport, and then to your next destination from Chengdu Airport. (Discover China Tours could help you to arrange the ticket from Kangding to Chengdu / Chongqing, but the price of this package do exclude the air ticket from Kangding to Chengdu /Chongqing).
Or you could take your private vehicle back to Chengdu, it will be 325 km and 6 hours 40 minutes driving.
