Day 1: All day Sculptures Art Discovery to Zishou Temple, Zhenguo Temple, Shuanglin Temple and Qingxu Temple.
Program:

After 15 minutes driving, we will arrive
Zhenguo Temple (Buddhist temple). Zhenguo Temple is the only one remaining in China which exemplifies the architectural style of the Five Dynasties period (907-960). And the Hall of Ten Thousand Buddhas, which has undergone numerous renovations but still retains its original style and unique structure.
And then, we will drive to
Shuanglin Temple (Buddhist temple). The most noteworthy artistic achievement in the Monastery is the colored figures which are displayed in ten halls. These halls, both large and small, are grouped around three courtyards, and house more than 2,000 exceptional painted Buddhist terracotta and wood statues dating back to the Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties. They are reputed to be a "treasure reserve of oriental painted sculptures".
The 3rd stop is
Zishou Temple (Buddhist temple). Zishou Temple is famous mainly for its large Ming Dynasty frescoes and colourful sculptures of the 18 Buddhist Saints. It was rated a National Cultural Relic Preservation Unit in 2001 and is included in the "Dictionary of Scenic Spots in China".
After the Buddhist temples, we will drive to the Pingyao Ancient City, the last stop
Qingxu Temple is in the ancient city and it is the most famous Taoist temple in Pingyao Ancient City. Qingxu Temple not only show you the Taoist culture, but also have exhibition for Pingyao history and culture. The highlights sculptures are the 5 meters dragon and white tiger god clay sculptures which was made in Yuan Dynasty. Furthermore, the Pingyao history and culture exhibition hall is also in the temple, you could discover the local folk art and handicrafts there.
