5 Days Zhangjiajie and Phoenix Ancient Town Tour

Day 1: Be met at Zhangjiajie Airport and transferred to your hotel. Leisuire for the rest of the day.

Program:

Upon arrival, your guide will be waiting for you at the airport by holding a sign. Then your guide and driver will transfer you to your hotel. After check-in, you can explore the city on your own.

Day 2: Be transferred from Zhangjiajie to Fenghuang, half-day sightseeing to Phoenix Ancient Town

Program:

check out after breakfast, your private guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel. Today, you will head to Fenghuang Ancient Town from Zhangjiajie (300 km, about 3.5 hours driving). Well-known for its ethnic minority culture and picturesque landscape, it takes you away from the pressure and fast-speed lifestyle. Flagged lanes, stilt houses along the river and ancient city wall… they tell the story of Fenghuang Ancient Town.
About 3.5 hours driving, you are going to do Phoenix River rafting, The Former Residence of Shen Congwen, and the East Gate Tower etc.
The fabulous night view of this ancient town is a must.

Day 3: Transfer from Fenghuang to Zhangjiajie, sightseeing to Yellow Dragon Cave

Program:

check out after breakfast, return to Zhangjiajie in the morning. On the way to Wulingyuan Scenic area, you’ll visit the Yellow Dragon Cave near Suoxiyu River. Yellow Dragon Cave, also called Huanglong Cave, is known for its Karst landscape. The highlight of this cave is one stalagmite, which called Dinghai Shenzhen. This stalagmite is 19.6 meters as high as 6-floor building. But the diameter of its middle part is only 10 centimeters.

Stay overnight in Wulingyuan scenic area.

Day 4: `Whole day sightseeing to Yuanjiajie and Tianzi Mountain

Program:

After breakfast, take Bailong Elevator up to Yuanjiajie Senic Spot. Yuan Jiajie Nature Reserve has the unparalleled scenic splendors of spectacular mountains and peculiar peaks. You’ll explore the World's No.1 Bridge, Avatar Mountain, and Backyard Garden. The famous First Bridge, with a width of 2 meters, stretches 20 meters across thin air between two peaks of 350 meters above the valley floor, forming a natural bridge arch. Pines around the bridge, swaying and whistling, compose the majestic breathtaking views.

After lunch, take a shuttle bus to Tianzi Mountain, visit He Long Park, and West Sea before taking cable car down and back hotel. Peculiar peaks and haze, this combo makes Tianzi Mountain mysterious and attractive.

Day 5: sightseeing to Tianmen Mountain in the morning, after all program, transfer to Zhangjiajie Airport for your next destination.

Program:

check out after breakfast, you will return Zhangjiajie and discover Tianmen Mountain by cable cars. The sightseeing including Tianmen Cave, Connected-Heaven Avenue, Bonsai Garden, Plank Road, Glass Skywalk, Tianmen Temple,etc.

Tianmen Cave and Glass Skywalk are the highlights. You can find how powerful nature is, as Tianmen Cave is 130 meters high and rarely located at an elevation of about 1260 above sea level.
You also can challenge yourself at the Glass Walkway, which is suspended almost 1,430 meters above the ground.
In the evening, be transferred to Zhangjiajie Hehua International Airport and fly to your next destinations.
