We arrived home last night after a wonderful two weeks two weeks in Yunnan. As previously everything was organised so well and we found our guide Michael to be a mine of information and always on time. Yunnan is indeed a beautiful and fascinating place and we came back with some very satisfying photos. The hotel accommodation was excellent and the places we visited gave us a very good look at how people live in the rural areas of China. It is a hard life for the majority but they are perpetually cheerful and friendly. Sue and I would like to thank you very much for your immaculate organisation of the trip.
 
We are already considering another trip to China next year, starting in Dali, heading north through Shangri-la, joining the road from Chengdu and then heading west overland from there to Lhasa. After a few days in Lhasa we would take the train to Xining. Is this itinerary within your scope to organise? I know that getting into Tibet / Xizang can be a bit tricky at times. I would like your thoughts about his and look forward to hearing from you. Would April be a good month to consider such a journey?
